I checked my spot, none yet but we have also been light on rain
I’ll be honest, the diamondbacks keep me from looking much. I did buy a new pair of snake boots last year so I feel a little more comfortable about it. How about sheds? Anybody found any yet? I’ve still got bucks with their antlers on camera.

I keep trying to post a picture for you but having some problems you can google it or whatever you use if you ever find some and try them you will look every year
they dont grow out in your desert part of the state lol
You might be right but then again if he can find a creek might have some luck

The ones I found last month were not morels they were oysters
I have looked a couple of times in my spot, but I knew it was too dry and cold so far. We got about 1.3" of rain here so I'm going to give it a few days to warm up and hope the sunshine gets the ground temps. up and maybe they'll get started.
5 of us prowled for about 45mins this evening. Picked 30. Left several small ones. Morels 2024 has begun here.
